News and Not News.
The Supreme Court today
agreed to consider the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. If the court
hears arguments this spring, an opinion could issue in advance of Election Day
2012.
Only time will tell whether the 'individual mandate' will survive in the face of constitutional scrutiny and whether the rest of the law can stand without that fundamental piece.
